Montse Benitez, wife of ex-Liverpool FC boss Rafa, donates £7000 cheque to Lily Centre

A LIVERPOOL charity was over the moon to receive a £7,000 cheque from the Montse Benitez Foundation.
A total of 200 supporters of the Lily Centre were treated to a visit from Montse, wife of the former Liverpool football manager, Rafael, with the cheque for £7,300.
The Lily Centre is one of five local causes currently receiving support from the Montse Benitez Foundation, set up only two months ago to support Merseyside charities.
The donation is from An Audience with Rafa. held at the Empire in mid- October, as well as a lunch which was held recently at the London Carriage Works.
